Quarantine Word of the Day Project

I worked seven days a week from mid-March through July 2020, as a fundraising executive for a large social services nonprofit here on Martha’s Vineyard. I made sure our organization had what it needed to take care of our community. The Quarantine Word of the Day project kept me sane. I made words for myself, for my family, and for my friends. Once my work schedule resumed some semblance of normality, I continued to make words. I ended up with nearly 100.

A different word every day, in a different style. The boundaries of the letters felt great and much-needed when everything else was up in the air.

If you’d like me to create a word for you or someone important to you,
let me know.
